This confocal microscope with Airyscan: well suited for life imaging:
Axio Observer.Z1, Inverted LSM800 confocal microscope + Airyscan, suited for live imaging: equipped with heating chamber, CO2 mixer, ZEN 3.8 with experiment designer,macro-enviroment (OAD) and ZEN Connect.
Overnight acquisitions: Please reboot system before and start system in DEBUG MODE (+ screenshot script): do not forget to SAVE the debug log-file in case of a crash!!

Detectors: 3 channels simultaneously (more sequentially)
- 2x GaAsP PMTs: Gallium arsenide phosphide photomultiplier tube detectors with free choice of the spectral range. (Uses a tuneable short-pass and band-pass filter in front of the PMTs)
- 1 x Airyscan detector – optimized for 63x. Can also be used as 3rd GaAsP detector!
- 1x ESID+LED light source: Electronically switchable illumination and detection module
