Axio Observer.Z1 Inverted LSM900 confocal microscope, suited for live imaging: equipped with heating chamber, CO2 mixer, ZEN 3.8 with experiment designer. This confocal microscope is well suited for live imaging book in PPMS – 4h limit in core hours

Overnight acquisitions: Please reboot system before and start system in DEBUG MODE (+ screenshot script): do not forget to SAVE the debug log-file in case of a crash!!

Sample conditioning:

  • Laser lines 405, 488, 561, 640 nm
  • CoolLED p300 SB light
  • ESID LED

Detectors: 3 channels simultaneously (more sequentially)

  • 3x GaAsP PMTs: Gallium arsenide phosphide photomultiplier tube detectors with free choice of the spectral range. (Uses a tunable short-pass and band-pass filter in front of the PMTs)
  • 1x ESID+LED light source: Electronically switchable illumination and detection module
