Axio Imager.Z2 Upright LSM900 confocal microscope + Airyscan 2, suited for live imaging: equipped with heating chamber, ZEN 3.8 with experiment designer, sample navigator and macro-environment (OAD).
The system is also equipped with an Airyscan 2 module incl. multiplex-mode: readout of up to 4 pixels at once while retaining super resolution (~140nm in X and Y), resulting in highly increased speed and more gentle imaging, especially important for live samples.
This confocal microscope is well suited for life imaging: book in PPMS– 4h limit in core hours

- 2x GaAsP PMTs: Gallium Arsenide Phosphide PhotoMultiplier Tube detectors with free choice of the spectral range by using 2 variable beam splitter dichroics and additional filters
- 1 x Airyscan2 detector – optimized for 40x objective. Can perform multiplexing, or can be used as 3rd GaAsP detector!
- 1x T-PMT + LED light source: Electronically switchable illumination and detection module
