The dual pipette aspiration (DPA) assay is a versatile tool that allows the measurement of a range of biophysical parameters of cells and tissue by precise micro-manipulation of cells and tissues, in combination with concurrent high-resolution imaging. Post-processing allows to determine properties such as contact-formation, de-adhesion force, surface tension, elasticity and viscosity of biological samples. More information:
