We are sorry for the late communications (there was some miscommunication towards us as well)  and we hope for your understanding! best regards, BIF-team

PPMS: Add comments to your bookings!

Match pinhole option faulty in Zen 2.5

With the introduction of the new ZEN 2.5 software on our new LSM800 systems, we uncovered some things that do not work optimally for us. Most importantly, the ‘Match Pinholes’ does not work, and instead of matching the pinholes to create equal optical sections per wavelength, this option now opens the pinholes completely! Opening the pinhole might overexpose the detectors and damage them: Do not use the ‘match pinhole’ option in ZEN 2.5 when setting up your Z-stack until further notice. We are in contact with Zeiss and ope for a solution soon!

Upgrading LSM700 to 800 systems

To implement these upgrades  and new features, we are organising a series of introductions. please sign up for the intro timely, so you keep your permission to work on these systems.
