The BRESSER MikroCam 3.0 microscope camera facilitates the documentation of your preparations and represents high functionality and quality. Among single frames it’s possible to make video sequences and serial images. This accessoiry can be booked without charges, but needs to be booked for the whole duration of use. The camera is available via our Automated Rental System, and will require a brief training before first use (and obtaining booking rights).
The BRESSER MikroCamII or MikroCam SP can be adapted to your microscope in several different ways. The camera that can be placed on a camera port, or can be mounted on one of the oculars of a microscope (see manual below). The following adapters are available:
- 23,2 mm adapter with C-Mount
- Adapter from 23,2mm to 30.5mm
- Adapter from 23,2mm to 30.5m
Framerate: up to 25 fps @ 2048×1536 Pixel / Up to 30 fps @1920×1080 Pixel
Laptop/computer: Please provide your own laptop/computer, with the following system requirements

Description
The Imaging and Optics facility “Automated Rental System” allows the flexibility for temporal usage of Experimental Accessories, Optical Tools, (high-end) Objectives. All items available need to be reserved in the booking system (PPMS – booking rights apply). Upon making a reservation, an access-code is generated for the duration of the reservation. For overnight reservations, a second access code is generated for the following day and sent by separate email.
