PreSemester MICROSCOPY Course 2024/2025 The (pre-semester) microscopy course is organized by the Imaging & Optics Facility (IOF) and aims to generate the understanding of how to design your experiments using matching imaging techniques. Dear all, Welcome to ISTA and thank you for your interest to start using laser equipment. This general laser safety training is meant for NEW scientists and staff that are planning to use laser based equipment and/or need access to a laser lab. Tissue Clearing: from sample to imaging | October 15 – 17 (3 days) Course Language: English Location: ISTA Klosterneuburg, Austria In microscopy, optical clearing emerges as an essential technique to overcome the problem of opacity in biological tissue. Over the course of three days you will practice different techniques of tissue clearing yourself.
