Remote seminar: TimSOM microrheology with the Impetux SENSOCELL Optical Trap
The Imaging and Optics Facility is happy to host a training seminar on microrheology by Dr. Frederic Català-Castro, application Scientist at Impetux S.L. We have recently added an Impetux SENSOCELL Optical Trap system, combined with a Nikon X-Light-V3 Spinning Disk microscope. Frederic will explain different biological applications using TimSOM, a single laser optical tweezer-based method for active microrheology, which allows to measure the viscoelastic material properties of protein condensates, cell cytoplasm and nuclei.
